Honors and GT English
This week we will start reading Animal Farm by George Orwell. We will be reading and annotating together as a class. Throughout our reading we will have vocabulary quizzes. Also, reminder that we have our first assessment scheduled for Friday, September 6th. It will be a comprehensive assessment on our summer reading, The Refugee.

Great first week! Next week math 7th honors will learn more about real numbers and order real numbers from least to greatest. Quiz grades are in. Test on real numbers is coming soon.
Algebra I class will continue learning how to solve equations with distribution and variables on both sides. Sharp class and we are off to a good start!

Week One Done!!! We will be setting up our interactive notebooks and reviewing lab safety expectations this week! Students will have a quiz on Friday and a special "Welcome to Seventh Grade" surprise!!!

Students will start learning how the geography of each region affected how and where each Native American tribe settled. We will also discuss ways they adapted to their environment.
Students will start learning to troubleshoot computers. They will learn what each part of the computer does and how they all work together. We will also be learning about Digital Citizenship.

Students will explore Adobe Photoshop. Through fun challenges students will display their technical knowledge of the program. For many, this will be a review, but for others it will serve as a refresher of the necessary skills they will need to be successful.
