This week will continue working in character analysis for Down a Dark Hall. We will be working on figurative language and poetry.

7th grade math honors
This week we will be reviewing for our test on pythagorean theorem and the distance between points using the pythagorean theorem and angle relationships.
Algebra I
This week we will continue to review for our semester exam. It is important for students to prepare wisely as this is 20% of their final grade.

Tuesday : 3:45 to 4:15pm
Make up work:
Monday and Thursday 7:45 to 8:15 am

7th grade Honors SCIENCE
7th grade Honors SCIENCE
This coming week is our last week before break. All makeup work is due by the 17th. The students will be taking their final test this week and will end the week with a little fun for all their hard work. We will have a winter potluck class celebration on friday Dec. 20th if they want to bring something they can list it on the google classroom. Student information sheets and permission slips forms for the science fair projects will also be sent home. Our science fair will be January 16th. If you have any questions or concerns please make sure you are emailing (akocen@neisd.net) and not Mrs. Flowers as she is no longer your students' teacher. Tutoring hours are also available by appointment only and are offered during lunch MTWF.

Honors Texas History

This week the students will be wrapping up Texas as a Republic. Student barracks/camp projects are due by December 18th. They have been working on these in class, but may need to finish outside of class. Instructions are on Google Classroom.

Can you believe it? We've made it through the first half on the school year. This week students will be finishing any missing assignments and taking their Semester exam on the 17th. We will have reviewed multiple times in class but please remind your student to study and prepare at home.
There will be no tutoring available this week except for at lunch if your student schedules it ahead of time.
