This week we will begin working on our podcast, we will be discussing the themes and characterization from Down a Dark Hall. We will make connections across texts to create and apply knowledge gained through our lives and the world around us.

This week the students will be learning about the Republic of Texas. They will be comparing the policies of Sam Houston and Mirabeau Lamar to determine who they think did a better job as president.

Students are continuing to learn about Propaganda and the Holocaust. When we return from break they will be making school related propaganda posters to create effective positive change in their peers.

Business Presentation by Steele
For the next 3 weeks, the last 3 weeks of the semester, we will continue to learn more through our Career Exploration Unit. We will build a resume, interview our peers, discuss professional communication, research jobs available in San Antonio, and so much more. Please mark your calendars for a Semester Exam over Career exploration the last week before Winter Break.
