Honors and GT English
This week we will continue reading Down a Dark Hall. Students will be having a vocabulary quiz every 3 chapters. We will also be periodically working on our Urban Legends Research project.

MATH
MATH
7th grade math honors
Students took the Unit 3 District Assessment as well as Exam 3 (proportional and non proportional functions) last week. This week we will start lessons on Bivariate Data. We hope to inspire strong student / study disciplines for this 2nd 9 weeks, the rest of this year and years to come.
Algebra I
This week will review before taking the exam on writing linear equations. Students have so far shown successful on equations on parallel and perpendicular linear as well as direct variation.

Make up work:
Monday and Thursday 7:45 to 8:15 am
Tutoring hours are currently posted in google classroom as well.

7th grade Honors SCIENCE
This week, your students will be taking the district assessment. Monday and Tuesday will be in-depth review days, and Wednesday is the projected test day. If you have any questions or concerns, please make sure you email me (akocen@neisd.net) and not Mrs. Flowers, as she is no longer your students' teacher. Tutoring hours are also available by appointment only and are offered during lunch MTWF.

Honors Texas History
This week students will be learning about tensions that led to the Texas Revolution. Students will perform their skits. From there we will start focusing on the battle sof the Texas Revolution

Students will be continuing the unit on brands this week. Students are into their research for their company rebrand project. They are determining colors, type faces, and more to successfully re-design a logo for their favorite company.
