7th grade math honors
This is the beginning of the 2nd 9 weeks. Students have become more aware of how grading works as well as expectations with class work, study habits, hw etc.
We will review before our unit test on proportional and non proportional functions.
Algebra I
This is the beginning of the 2nd 9 weeks. Students have become more aware of how grading works as well as expectations with class work, study habits, hw etc.
These students continue to amazing me! They are brilliant and doing great. I will continue to do what I can to challenge them and help them grow.
We will review before our Test Friday on writing linear equations.
Tutoring hours are currently posted in google classroom.

7th grade Honors SCIENCE
This week we are going to participate in a Science Code Break Out Room. Students will be challenged and learn a lot! Your students' grade are updated every Thursday and if you have any questions or concerns please make sure you are emailing me (akocen@neisd.net) and not Mrs. Flowers as she is no longer your students' teacher. Tutoring hours are also available by appointment only and are offered during lunch MTWF.

Honors Texas History
Honors Texas History
This week students will be learning about tensions that led to the Texas Revolution. Students will start writing skits and then perform their event in front of their classmates. If you have any extra cardboard like Amazon boxes, please keep them as they will be making props to increase the engagement of each skit.

We've made it to the second 9 weeks, can you believe it? Students will be continuing the unit on brands this week. They will use their knowledge of Typography and Graphic Design to discuss company logos, websites and product branding. We will also discuss why a company might choose to rebrand and then start some research for our next project where students will rebrand a company logo.
