Math: It’s Everywhere!

Lesson 1: Students will view the following video to review how we use Math everywhere https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wsoxZuEcIc. Students will then take 2 pictures or make 2 drawings of how they use Math at home. This assignment will be turned in by uploading the pictures in Class Dojo to show how they use Math at home.

Language Arts: How-To Card

Lesson 1: https://www.education.com/download-pdf/activity/14147/Students can create a memorable gift for a male figure in their family by creating a how to book of things he is good at.

Reading: Book Nook

Lesson 1: Students and their families can create a book fort/nook for the family to enjoy and utilize for a reading space.Teachers will assess the written and recorded response.

Science: Sink or Float?

Lesson 1: https://www.greatschools.org/gk/articles/does-it-sink-or-float/ Students and their families can test household objects to see if they sink or float.

Social Studies: Staying Healthy

Lesson 1: As a family, come up with a list of healthy activities you can do weekly. Choose your favorite and make a plan on when you will do this, for how long and what family members will do this activity with you.For example: Walking every other day for 30 minutes with my brother and parents. You can take a picture of your plan and send to your teacher through Dojo.
