What's the difference between global activities and global service learning?

Global activities are connected to the high school and are extracurricular (ex. school clubs or leadership groups), whereas global service learning allows students to spread their horizons and participate in something outside of their own community. Global service opportunities could be looked upon like volunteer hours, a way to expand students' knowledge of the world around you, or simply a way for students to lend a helping hand globally (ex. mission trip).

Global service learning requires a minimum of 20 volunteer hours, and 4 extracurricular global activities are also needed to meet the requirements.

Can you take three years of one language, and another year of a different language?

To meet the World Language Requirement through coursework, students must take four credits of one language: Spanish, French or Chinese. However, one year of a second language will be accepted for credit towards the global content requirements.
