Welcome to Caratland. My name is Peyton, and I am a 14 year-old girl who can’t resist talking about Seventeen. July 18, 2022 was the day I started becoming a Carat. Hoshi’s tik tok of him dancing to their song “Cheers" was when I knew it was over for me, and it was when I started learning the members names. A little over a month after that day my mom, my two sisters, and I went to see Seventeen in Chicago for their “Be The Sun” concert. Me and my older sister, smiling uncontrollably, couldn’t hide our excitement. I remember waiting in line, getting bracelets and fan made photo-cards. I remember seeing them behind the curtains just before they walked out on stage, feeling the adrenaline. They were ethereal and had an insane amount of energy. Being known for their exceptional stage presence, Seventeen did not disappoint and presented a special experience that I will never forget.
I currently have over 20 albums in my collection including two signed postcards. My older sister and I watch all of their performances and send each other videos of them daily. I have listened to all of their songs including the ones in Japanese such as “24H” , my favorite song of their Japanese releases, and there is not one day I go without listening to at least one song by them. Every single one of their Going Seventeen episodes I have watched with my sister. Their humor truly amazes me and never fails to make me laugh. They have a way of making you feel like you’re their friend. Although I have only been their fan for 2 out of their 9 years, I hope you will be able to learn more about Seventeen through my blog and potentially become a Carat in the process.
