Course content: All students will have access to a curriculum to help bridge school and their individual future goals and aspirations. The goals of this class will follow the Wisconsin Standard for Career Readiness utilizing the following strands: Career Ready, Career Awareness (Know), Career Exploration (Explore), Career Planning (Plan), Career Preparation (Go), Learning Ready, Academic Skills, Critical Thinking and problem solving, Innovation, mindset and skills, Technology skills, Life Ready, Self-awareness, management, and responsibility, Interpersonal communication and collaboration, Global competence, Responsive leadership.
Course Activities: Activities for this class will be scaffolded by grade level. Building resumes, career and personal interest surveys, job shadowing, career exploration speakers.
