Connection to France

The Lincou’s travel back to France each year to visit their family and friends. They try to go every summer for a month to a month and a half. “That's really the one time of the year we get to reconnect with our roots and family and friends,” says Jade. It is difficult for them to not see their loved ones during the year, however they still feel a connection to France. “I do still feel connected. I always have,” she says. Her little brother, Gabriel, who was born two years after their journey in the United States began, is the only American born in the family.
