Dear Parents and Guardians,
Hello and welcome. My name is Angelique Wimberley, and I will be your child’s math teacher this new school year. As we embark on this year, I want to introduce myself and our department as a partner in your child’s math education. At the end of this letter, you will find information on the math classroom policy, required materials, grading policy, homework policy, and information on progress reports, teacher emails, and the state standards for the grade level of your child. Please read and review the school rules and policies. This information is in the student’s handbook. To remain aware of the expectations of your child please check their notebook and PowerSchool regularly. Every 6 weeks, you will receive reports cards or progress reports; please make sure you review them with your child and sign it and return it to me. I may email or call you from time to time if I feel we need to construct a plan to assist your child.
Please feel free to email me or write me a note whenever you need to express your concerns about the progress of your child. I am extremely excited at the opportunity to work with your child this year. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by phone or by email.
Sincerely,
Angelique Wimberley
