INTRODUCTION
PowerCAMPUS Self Service is an online resource for you to access important information. From here you will be able to view, print and e-mail students from your class lists, manage and assign assistants to a course and access present classroom teaching schedules.
To access the PowerCAMPUS Self Service, go to https://register.necmusic.edu/SelfService
Login using the same information you use to access your NEC account. The username is your NEC e-mail username (without '@necmusic.edu') then click next.
Enter your account password.
If you have forgotten your login information or have other issues logging in, please go to https://necmusic.onelogin.com and click 'forgot password' or email Tech.Central@necmusic.edu for assistance.

WEB BROWSER COMPATABILITY
NAVIGATION
A top navigation bar is present throughout the site. Most faculty will see the Classes and Search menu options. Faculty with department head access will see the Department option as well.
CLASSES
My Schedule - Displays the instructor's course schedule for the selected year and term.
Navigate to Classes > My Schedule to view your schedule
Use the period drop down list box to select other available academic terms
Click on the course title for details course information
Click on the class list for a list of enrolled students in this section
Course Management - provides in depth information about enrollment and grading for your courses
Navigate to Classes > Course Management
Select the year/term and course section from the drop down list boxes
NOTE: 'There is no schedule' may be displayed on screen. This is normal as daily class schedules have not been defined for most courses.
Class List - displays a list of enrolled students in this section. Use the status selector to see who has added or dropped this course. The students may be viewed as a list or as an image book by clicking the buttons to the right
Wait List - displays a list of wait listed students in this section
Permission Request - displays a list of student who have requested permission to enroll in this course
Grades - displays student grades and allows grade entry during course grading periods
DEPARTMENT
Course Management - Department heads are able to utilize the course management features for every course section in their department.
Navigate to Department > Management
1. Select a filter: We recommend using the department filter and then choose your department from the drop down list boxes
2. Select a course: choose a year/term and then a course section from the drop down list boxes

Approve Grades - courses with faculty assistants may require grade approval from a primary faculty member or department head.
Navigate to Department > Approve Grades
Select a year/term from the drop down list box
A list of courses pending approval will be displayed. Choose the course for which you intend to approve grades
For each student, select the grade approval status, then click 'Save' at the bottom once your selections are completed.
SEARCH
The search features provide course listings from the catalog and from period section offerings.
Course - Displays information from the general course catalog
Section - Displays information specific to a course section offered during the selected year/term
