REQUIREMENTS

• To apply to be on Student council, you must be currently attending MMHS AND planning on attending MMHS for the ENTIRE 2026/27 school year.  

• You must carry a full schedule for the entire school year.

• You must have at least a 3.25 GPA and have no unexcused absences.

• You will purchase a student council sweater.  These sweaters are about $265.  

• You must also be able to attend summer student council meetings.

• June 16-18 - The Student‌ ‌Council‌ ‌Summer‌ Leadership ‌Camp‌ ‌must‌ ‌be‌ ‌attended‌ ‌(unless‌ ‌for‌ ‌a‌ ‌special‌ ‌circumstance that is approved ahead of time by the student council advisors).‌ ‌The camp will be at Utah State University in Logan, UT. ‌ The cost‌ ‌for‌ ‌the‌ ‌conference‌ ‌is‌ ‌$300.

You will need to submit the following with your application:

• a copy of your transcripts

• attendance record 

• detention report ( you shouldn't have detentions)

• 2 letters of Recommendation

• essay explaining your qualifications
