Some Utah colleges require the ACT admissions and scholarships. The test covers the areas of English, Reading, Mathematics and Science reasoning.
Juniors will take the ACT at SHS in the Spring. The test is paid for by the state, and it is required that every junior take the test on the test date assigned.
Students are strongly encouraged to take the ACT twice. The September test during the students Senior year is the last test that will meet every college deadline.
The SAT is also accepted at all Utah college and can be used as an alternate to the ACT. (More details below)

Practice SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test held in October. Watch for emails home with instructions the end of September
AP Exams (First 2 full weeks of May). Sign up with your AP Teacher before November.
