Orson Pratt Huish

(September 5, 1851 – December 4, 1932)

Orson Huish was a noted Payson musician and songwriter, in addition to several other vocations. He wrote over 300 songs during his lifetime. Among them, he wrote the music and lyrics to the PHS Song he named "The Silver and the Green." In the photos on this page, note his amazing mustache!
