New UHSAA Classifications and Regions

The UHSAA realigns school classifications (1A - 6A, based on school size) and regions every two years.  They just announced our new classification and region that will take effect next school year (2023-2024) and last for two school years. Payson High School will be in the 4A Classification and part of Region 8. See below. For the full UHSAA classification/region document, click here.

Multi-Sport Athletes!

Recently, discus thrower Valerie Allman broke the national record, becoming the greatest discus thrower in American history. One secret to her success was her background in multiple sports. Read her story HERE.
