In both of these video projects, I primarily speak in Spanish. I traveled to Peru the summer following my sophomore year of high school, and I traveled to Argentina the following summer. The difference a year can make in terms of language proficiency is absolutely mind-blowing! Watch these projects to find out what I mean!

While in Argentina, I created a project analyzing forms of music, especially focusing on youth pop and Reggaeton music, a blend of American Hip Hop and Caribbean Reggae. I am an avid listener of Latin pop, so the creation of this project was not only insightful to my audience, but me as well!

While I Peru, I focused on how the geography influenced the development of culture. Ancient life and culture in the desert relied on water and mud from rivers, which dictated where they built their houses and how they conducted rituals.
