Google Forms in Language Learning

Hands on Technology: Google Forms: Creating Surveys, Quizzes and More in Language Learning

This hands on technology workshop will explore the many ways to integrate Google forms before, during and after class to engage students and improve questioning and teaching methods, particularly in the language learning classroom. Whether you are interested in doing entrance and exit tickets for formative assessment, or using Forms to create quizzes and tests, this hands-on workshop will help you to navigate how to create and share your forms with your students, and how to use the data you collect for decision-making. Resources will be provided to extend your learning after the workshop.

Objectives for Learning:

After completing this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • List at least five new ways to integrate forms in the classroom

  • Create and modify forms, including skip tracing

  • Understand at least three ways to distribute forms to students

  • Download data collected from forms and measure student success

  • Manage forms in Google Drive
