Teaching certification through the Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Notre Dame requires completion of five modules on Pedagogy, Tools, Media, and a Media Project. Each module requires completion of readings and viewings, the creation of a digital artifact, a reflection, and the submission of an ePortfolio.
Teaching certification through the Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Notre Dame requires successful completion of Striving for Excellence in Teaching Certificate as prerequisite. In addition, the Advanced Teaching Scholar certificate requires the attendance of five additional teaching workshops with a corresponding reflection for each. The certificate also requires the completion of a significant teaching project in consultation with the Kaneb Center staff or departmental faculty. My project included a detailed digital teaching portfolio, teaching philosophy, sample syllabi, in-class teaching observations, and the development of a new course.
