Hispanic Heritage Month will soon be upon us and we are delighted to give Catholic schools a new opportunity to celebrate the skills of their multilingual learners!
¡A DELETREAR! National Catholic Schools Spelling Bee en español is a collaborative, team-based spelling competition. Unlike an individual oral spelling contest, schools compete with teams of students who participate virtually in rounds to spell contest words. Based on the cumulative total of correctly spelled words of all members, winning teams will be named and a trophy will be bestowed upon the winning school.

There is no cost to participate. Schools simply have to identify a coach and pull together a team of 9 fourth graders who will participate in the competition on November 17, 2023 via a University of Notre Dame virtual feed.
