Abstract

In this lecture, Professor Wang will discuss about some recent advances in the mathematical theory of general relativity that is related to his current research. He will also share his personal research experiences in geometric analysis and mathematical relativity.

【Speaker Profile】

王慕道教授於1988年畢業於臺大數學系,現任哥倫比亞大學教授。他是一位卓越的數學家,研究領域包括微分幾何、數學物理和廣義相對論。他在高餘維度平均曲率流、準局域質量能和廣義相對論角動量等領域的開創性工作深受推崇。王教授因其卓越貢獻獲得多項榮譽,其中包括2007年的陳省身獎、2010年的晨興金獎,並於2022年當選為中研院院士。
