What is The Engineering Lab? 

The Engineering Lab, located in 111 Lampe Drive, is a multi-room facility specifically designed for first-year engineering students, but all College of Engineering students can utilize the space. The Engineering Lab consists of the Makerspace (Room 356) and the Resource Room (Room 354) and is staffed by fellow engineering students. Students are required to complete a safety training prior to using various tools and equipment, such as saws, drills, soldering stations, and 3D printers found in the Makerspace. The Makerspace also contains hand tools that students can use, however they are not available for check-out. The Resource Room contains consumable supplies needed for class projects, such as glue guns, motors, LED's, and paint. Students requesting materials will need to submit a request form, which they can access when picking up materials.
