There are two new electric vehicle charging stations available at the Dan Allen Deck and the Coliseum Deck, bringing the total number of stations on campus to 22.
The EV stations are funded jointly by the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center, the North Carolina Department of Transportation and NCSU Transportation.
On a thriving university campus, people are on the move. From work to class and everywhere in between, students, faculty and staff travel to, from and around campus. Every year, campus sustainable transportation options grow, reducing energy use and greenhouse gas emissions while creating a more pedestrian-friendly and less congested campus.
NC State University welcomes employees and students using electric vehicles. We encourage their use to reduce campus air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions and offer several charging stations across campus for your use.
Check out NC State Transportation page for information on how to access stations and other learn more about their initiatives.
