Adult volunteers are the heart of 4-H. As a 4-H volunteer, you have the opportunity to not only witness others grow in talent but see yourself evolve as a leader.
Level 1 Certified Volunteers
Description: Work directly with youth, requiring background screening and Minor's Regulation Training.
Roles: Includes Club Leaders, Project Leaders, and Program Volunteers.
Requirements: Complete Minor's Regulation Training In 4Honline, background check, screening, and complete the following training:
Level 2 Volunteers
Description: Limited/supervised youth interaction
Roles: 4-H Judges, Summer Fun Camp helper, Afterschool Club helper
Requirements: Complete Minor's Regulation Training but does not require background screening. Must be supervised.
Pitt County 4-H is always looking for enthusiastic youth volunteers to serve as Jr. 4-H Volunteer or a Teen Leader.
Description: Teen Volunteers are made up of youth ages 13-19 who are activity participating In the a 4-H club or program.
Roles: Teen Volunteers can assist with 4-H Summer Fun Camps, special Interest programs, and special events.
Requirements: Teen volunteers must be formally enrolled In 4-H Online as a 4-H member and attend or review the mandatory Teen Volunteer Training.
