04.23 ... Open House starts at Noon of F 04.25 ... please arrive at least 15min early for setup

04.22 ... Happy Earth Day!  Happy LDOC - let's get it done!!

04.19 ... Open house attire ... the classic "business casual" ... here are some pictures ... NCSU has a professional clothing closet if you don't have anything like this.  Basically, something that's neat and clean and other than gym shorts & T-shirts.  No need for ties and jackets or anything like that.

GO for field work, departing 1PM.  Looking at the weather, it seems the worst should have passed just before we’re scheduled to depart.  With input from the teams going out, I’m going make the call that we will GO to Crowder with a departure time of 1PM (instead of 12:50).  I reserve the right to turn us around or pull us from the site if conditions warrant.

03.04 ... Stand by and watch this space for weather decision by noon tomorrow.  If I cancel lab, we will ALL meet in the classroom instead.

02.18 ... Lab is CANCELLED for Wednesday, and I expect our Thursday class will also be cancelled. Ugh.  We'll figure it out.

02.12 ... Water & Critters are going out today - I'll have the van at the usual place and time; Trees staying in and Trey will be in classroom.  Dress for the weather!!

02.11 ... Stand by for direction regrading lab tomorrow 02.12 given the wet and cold weather.  I've reached out to team leads for input

01.22 ... We'll meet on Zoom today from 12:50-2:30 to do our review of the self-assessment process and to develop our team operating procedures.  There is a Zoom Portal link in the Quicklinks section that will bring you to the Zoom room.

01.21 ... Right now, classes have been cancelled until noon tomorrow (W 01.22), so we're good to go at 12:50.  There is supposed to be an update at 10AM tomorrow.  If class is cancelled, I would like us to meet on Zoom  from 12:50-2:30 latest to get some things done.  We can do the review of the self evaluation instrument online and we can also develop the class operating principles working in breakout rooms. It’s much more fun in person, but it’s hard to get back the 3 hours we’d otherwise lose. Thanks for bearing with me as we figure this out.  I am happy to hear other ideas if you have some.  Stand by for an update from me at around 10:30 tomorrow morning.

01.14 ... For W 01.15 Lab, we have a 12:50 Depart from parking lot by Hodges Lab, behind Biltmore Hall for Crowder County Park (4709 Ten-Ten Road, Apex).  We will actually park here at the north end of the park.

Su 01.05 ... See you all on Tu 12.07 starting at 10:15 in 3214 Jordan Addition. We do have a full lab scheduled for W 01.08 also - and we'll be outside part of the time.
