Meet Caroline! She served as our Vice President of BGS this past year and is stepping up to President for the 2026-2027 school year. She is a Senior double major in Accounting and Business Administration with a concentration in IT. She especially enjoyed her Accounting Analytics class this past semester. She is looking forward to growing BGS, increasing awareness across Poole, and creating more opportunities for students to get involved and connected. She is passionate about cooking and trying new recipes, so ask her about her current favorites! Her favorite spot on campus is Governor’s Scott Courtyard.

Meet Mackenzie, your Vice President of BGS! She is a junior pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Economics. One of her favorite courses so far has been BUS 360, Marketing Methods. She is looking forward to working with the fellow executive team members and making amazing events for our members. She is especially passionate about community service, with a focus on supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities. On campus, her favorite place to spend time is Talley!

Meet Anna! She is a senior majoring in IBDD Business Administration. This semester, her favorite class was BUS 470: Operations Modeling & Analysis. She’s excited to meet new people through BGS, help create fun and meaningful events, and make great memories throughout the year. Outside of school, Anna is passionate about traveling, horseback riding, and performing arts. You can usually find her hanging out at her favorite spot on campus, which is the outdoor area at Talley!

Meet Sean! He is a rising senior in Finance with a minor in data science. His favorite course from this past semester was Database Management (Honors). He is looking forward to helping manage the budget and the appropriations process this upcoming year. In his free time, he enjoys creating and experiencing art, whether it be writing, visual designs, film, videos, or music. You can find him in Carmichael Gym, as that is his favorite spot on campus!

Meet Zoe! She is a third-year Accounting major with minors in economics and business data science. Her favorite class she took this semester was International Economics (EC348)! She shares that “I am looking forward to continuing to create the BGS newsletter and to forming relationships with new members.” She is extremely passionate about books and the importance of reading for both knowledge and fun. Her favorite spot on campus is definitely the grassy area in front of the Court of North Carolina!

Meet Sarah, your Director of Public Relations for this year! She is a junior double-majoring in Accounting and Finance. This past semester, she loved her ACC 310: Intermediate Accounting I course and can often be found studying in the Student Leadership and Engagement room in Talley. Outside of the classroom, Sarah has a passion for music and attending concerts, so be sure to ask her about Taylor Swift! In her role, she is excited to take on a greater level of involvement within BGS and contribute to strengthening the organization’s presence through social media and gain valuable insight into the planning and execution of events.

Meet Vanessa! She is a senior in the IBDD program, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. She spent the past semester in Denver, completing a six-month internship! She shares, “I’m excited to help grow BGS into a community that students recognize long before they become eligible to join. I want people to see BGS as more than just an honor society, but as a network of ambitious, driven people who genuinely support one another. This year, I hope to strengthen engagement, build a stronger campus presence that reflects the excellence of our members, and spread the word to help make BGS something students are genuinely excited to be part of :)” Ask her about music and travel because those are some of her passions!
