NCSU is located near the Research Triangle Park, a vibrant area of research and education in North Carolina.
The closest airport is Raleigh-Durham International (RDU). It is a 25 minute drive to Hunt Library and nearby hotels (see Accommodations). Rental cars, taxis, and other car hire services are available from the airport. For Uber or Lyft, you can find your ride in the Prearranged Services area (Zone 1 at Terminal 1 and Zone 17 at Terminal 2). A taxi will cost approximately $33.00 from the airport to hotels near campus.
The Raleigh city bus line is called Go Triangle; route 100 goes to/from RDU for $2.25. The stop at Hillsborough St and Garder St. is not at any hotel, but puts you on the free NCSU bus route (Wolfline). Plan your Wolfline route carefully to get to your hotel.
