What Is PrimaryAI?

The PrimaryAI project is investigating how we can create deeply engaging learning experiences integrating artificial intelligence and life science for upper elementary students with immersive problem-based learning.

Curricular Content

PrimaryAI provides rich in-depth exposure to artificial intelligence integrated into life science, where its curricular content is driven by the NGSS and the K-12 Computer Science Framework.

Research Objective

The objective of the PrimaryAI project is to significantly advance theoretical and practical understanding of how to introduce upper-elementary students to artificial intelligence with a curriculum integrating AI and life science.
Support for the project has been provided by the National Science Foundation through grants DRL‑1934128 and DRL‑1934153, "PrimaryAI: Integrating Artificial Intelligence into Upper Elementary Science with Immersive Problem-Based Learning."
