Course reflection

During the semester of Fall 2022, GIS was definitely one of my most challenging courses. This course requires not only rigorous thinking but a sense of creativity as well. Creating maps can be compared to creating art or even mathematics because there’s always an end result, a finished product. The most difficult part was learning to create a process diagram. Although it did not come easy, I’ve recently gotten the hang of it. I think this course was mostly intriguing, as problem solving usually is. I can say that I’ve walked away with a skill that did not come easy but is very beneficial in so many aspects in my career field that I think will come in handy in the near future.
