My name is Faith Jezioranski-Davis and I am a graduate student in the Master of Microbial Biotechnology (MMB) program at NC State University and a biotechnology professional. While working in the cancer genomics field for the past 5 years, I have gained a deep appreciation for the power of genomic insights in guiding treatment decisions. Furthermore, I obtained technical biological lab experience and oversaw a process improvement project that streamlined process steps and reduced costs. My drive for in-depth scientific knowledge and the elements that propel biotechnology businesses led me to pursue the MMB at NC State. This program blends both business and science courses to create well-rounded students pursuing careers in business and leadership roles in the biotechnology industry. I am currently pursuing a concentration in clinical development with a special focus on regulatory affairs in biotechnology.
Regulatory Affairs of medical devices, drug therapeutics, and MedTech
Special interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Real World Evidence and Data (RWE/RWD) global regulations
The Master of Microbial Biotechnology (MMB) is a Professional Science Master's (PSM) that requires completion of four biotechnology industry problems courses, including a Capstone project in the final semester that prepares students for pursuing their own entrepreneurial ventures. These courses allow students to work with biotechnology companies both locally within RTP and out of state on a project proposed by the company that typically involves competitor and general market research, voice of customer outreach, or thorough scientific literature research.
