The Jenkins Consulting Practicum course allows students to step into a consulting role for small to mid-sized companies searching for ways to expand their business. The course is entirely based upon the consulting project executed by the small team of MBA students. The projects span different business needs, including entering new geographical markets, commercialization strategy, market intelligence, and digital marketing strategy. My team was partnered with Mirimichi Green, a manufacturer of specialty turf and ornamental care organic products. To sell their products to end users, Mirimichi Green relies on a robust network of distributors across the US and Asia. Due to the high presence of golf courses and resorts, Mirimichi Green targeted Mexico as the next venture for distributing their products. The MBA team was tasked with performing a competitive analysis of the Mexican market, identifying distributors that fit within Mirimichi Green's values and strategic goals, and developing a distribution strategy for the entry of Mirmichi Green's products into Mexico.
