Since Potatoes (Solanum tuberosum) are in the same family as tomatoes ((Solanum lycopersicum) but a distant relative, how would the RNA sequences align to this distant relative?
Biological experimental approach: Performed by collaborators, RNA from differentiated leaves and undifferentiated stem cells were isolated using appropriate protocol to generate sequencing libraries.
Sequencing approach: Samples obtained were sequenced using Next generation sequencing platform (eg: illumina sequencing or nanopore sequencing)
