Inclusive Excellence Certificate

NCSU Office of Equal Opportunity certificate program including workshops titled "Applied Cultural Identity", "Foundations of Equal Opportunity", "The Macro of Microaggressions", and "Unconscious Bias". This program builds awareness and knowledge of foundational diversity, equity, and inclusion concepts.

GUIDE Training

The "Guiding Universities in Demonstrating Empathy" program was hosted by NCSU Preventative Services. The 3-hour program empowers faculty and staff to conduct effective student support conversations by building on the QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) mental health crisis intervention framework.

BioSci Honors Program

The Packways QEP (Quality Enhancement Plan) is a key component of the university's accreditation process. Packways emphasizes the importance of high-impact experiences (HIE) in the development and learning of undergraduates. The BioSci Honors program has been recognized as a Packways HIE and I'm proud to serve as the program coordinator.

Reflective Educational Design (RED) Inclusive Teaching Certificate (ITC)

The NCSU Office of Faculty Excellence offered a workshop series to train instructors to enhance their teaching through reflective, research-based, and inclusive practices.

Career Champions Training

The NCSU Career Development Center offered a workshop for faculty and staff to foster a culture of career awareness within their college, unit, and department. Participants left with tools to improve career-centered conversations with students.

Teaching CertificateThe Graduate School

The Graduate Professional Development Team’s Teaching Certificate offers master’s, doctoral, and postdoctoral scholars guidance for how to effectively teach and mentor within a higher education environment. It is structured to provide foundational workshops and electives that help develop one’s teaching and mentoring skills.
