The William E. McCrary Scholarship is being offered to any Cabarrus County FFA or 4-H graduating high school senior member who is planning a career in some aspect of Agribusiness. Agribusiness encompasses a large variety of business and science-related fields including but not limited to Environmental Science, Horticulture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Fisheries Science, Food Science, Nutrition, Machinery, Engineering, Information Technology, Consumer Science and other agricultural related fields. Those students having applied to and/or been accepted to an accredited institute of higher education and who are in good standing at their high school can receive qualifications, procedures, application form and recipient responsibilities.

This award is solicited from local donors in the agribusiness community. Awards are dependent upon annual funding donations and will vary.
Open to 4-H'ers with 5 + years of 4-H membership who have completed a project record for the current year, participated in 4 or more county or higher level 4-H events and are 4-H age of 14 or more.
Applications are due at the January County Council meeting or before and will be judged by a Cabarrus Foundation Awards Committee members according to this rubric.
Open to 4-H youth enrolled in nc.4holine.com for two calendar years or more that have completed a project record for this current year, participated in 2 or more county or higher level 4-H events and are at least 9 but not more than 13 in 4-H Age.

Open to any active chartered 4-H Club. Hours can be submitted via Google Drive, email or by this form, as long as the format is similar. Forms received prior to the end of the January County Council meeting will be considered for the top prize, a $50 donation to the non-profit of your club's choice.
Any chartered 4-H Club in Cabarrus County may apply. Entries are due by January County Council meeting. Award is scrapbooking materials goodie kit. Scrapbooks will be judged by the Cabarrus 4-H Foundation Awards Committee by this rubric.
Any approved and active Cabarrus County 4-H volunteer may apply for this award. Please submit this form by January County Council meeting. Award $100 Scholarship to attend the NC VLA Conference held in Durham, NC the first weekend in February. Preference will be given to first time attendees and full time attendees. Partial awards may be granted to those attending part time or for banquet only if no other applicants.
