Thanks for participating in the Egg-cellent Egg Contest! This website will provide you with tips for picking out the best eggs to submit.

We will also share information about upcoming trainings and program information.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration for the 2026 4-H Egg-Cellent Egg Contest is open now through July 31, 2026. Register here.

Participants in this program must be actively enrolled 4-H members. You can check your status or enroll using this link - nc.4Honline.com

If you are not currently an active 4-H member, please contact your county's agent. https://www.ces.ncsu.edu/

Save the dates!

July 31- Registration Closes

August 4 - Contest orientation via Zoom at 6:00 pm

August 18 - Egg-citing, In-Depth Egg Training via Zoom at 6:00 pm

August 21 - Registration fee is due to the Hoke County Office

September 16 at 5:00 pm OR EARLIER - Egg Submission deadline to your county extension office. Check with your office for exact egg drop off deadline. Supplemental sections must be submitted on this day too.

September 29 - Winners announced via Zoom at 6:00 pm
