I joined NCSSM in October 2025 as a Residential Education Instructor & Community Coordinator. As an educator in the residential environment, I am committed to fostering a genuine sense of belonging that celebrates everyone and creates a supportive atmosphere.
When I am not working, I enjoy listening to R&B and podcasts, spending time with family and friends, and exploring creative hobbies.
Hey guys! My name is Franchesca, but you can call me Frankie and I’m so excited to be your RLA this year! I’m from Asheboro, and I used to go to Asheboro highschool. I’m a part of the leadership teams for clubs like SSMatholics, UNICEF and kasama, so if you’re interested in any of those please reach out! My advice for the incoming juniors, don’t feel so rushed all the time, take the time to hang out with friends and do things you actually enjoy. One special fact about me is that I love to cook, and you can usually find me in hunt kitchen on a Sunday night meal prepping for the week!
Hey! My name is Aanya and I’m excited to be 3rd Bryan’s RLA! I’m from Cary, NC and went to Raleigh Charter High School. On the side, I’m an ASA officer and an RChem researcher. I love beach volleyball, the gym, singing, painting/sketching, reading, and horror movies! I still remember how nervous and excited I felt coming to NCSSM, and I recommend making the best of your time here and putting yourself out there. If you’re looking to have fun with friends, I recommend KoffeeHaus, and if you need a ninth-street food rec, Kiichi Ramen, Monuts, and Joes are great!
Hey everyone! My name is Satya and I'm super excited to be an RLA this year! I come from Pinecrest High School in Southern Pines, Moore County. I'm currently part of the leadership team for Key Club, Public Health Association, and Climate Action Club, as well as a Cross Country captain and part of the indoor/outdoor track team! I'm looking forward to getting to know more people this year and starting more projects around NCSSM and Durham as a whole. Outside of school, I am always down to talk about anime, running, philosophy, video games, and anything about books/writing! My advice for juniors would be to try as many things as you can, be open minded, and throw yourself at as many opportunities as possible, no matter how weird or crazy they seem. At NCSSM, I've only ever regretted the things I didn't do.
