Anna Tringale
Anna Tringale, a current junior here at the Durham campus. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Anna, dedicated to environmental science, spends their free time promoting their textbook, constructing recycled clothing, and composing prose. In their talk, "Beyond Labels," Anna explores how we can embrace individuality and honor cultural identity in a world affected by Name-Based Identity Alienation.
Julius Tillery
An alum of NCSSM and UNC Chapel Hill, Mr. Tillery is the founder of BlackCotton.us, and the Black Acres clothing line, and owns Black Acres, a clothing line supplied with cotton from his local farm. From guest speaking at numerous conferences, consulting another’s farm and working hands on producing crops, Mr. Tillery shares his passion for improving the lives of farmers and farming communities across the nation.
Leyla Urmanova
A current junior on NCSSM Morganton campus and Charlotte resident, Leyla is engaged in the International Youth Neuroscience Association chapter and enjoys playing the piano.
Om Nair
Om is a current junior here at NCSSM. As he pursues a future career in Neuroscience and Public Health Policy, Om hopes to continue growing his nonprofit, “The Vrindha Nair Foundation.”
