Nearly one-third of NCSSM families participated in the Extended Weekend Charter Bus program during the 2023-2024 academic year.  On average, families were able to reduce their round-trip personal vehicle travel time by four hours per day.  The program would not be successful without the support of parent/guardian coordinators who liaison with NCSSM staff members and area families.    

The charter bus program allows students who live a significant distance from campus a means to travel home safely and cost-effectively during Extended Weekends and Breaks.
