Practice reading fluency passages with your child. Reveal the words they do not know or struggle reading. Reread passage until they can independently read it fluently. Once your child can read the passage you can time them for 1 minute and try to improve on the words they read per minute each time they attempt the passage. Practice reading passage 5-10 minutes daily.
