Backpack Project
The Cambria County Backpack Project is an affiliate of The Learning Lamp. Their mission is to work collaboratively to leverage resources in our communities to alleviate childhood hunger.
On the last school day of each week, participants in the backpack program will receive the bagged food items from the school counselor, social worker, or principal. This program largely focuses its attention in the Northern Cambria Elementary and Middle School.
To be referred for the Backpack Project, contact the Elementary Guidance Counselor.

SAP
Student Assistance Programs (SAP) are designed to help school personnel to identify issues which pose a barrier to a student's learning and school success. At times, those issues may be related to mental health and behavioral concerns, depression, suicide or alcohol and other drug use. The SAP utilizes a systematic process, along with a specially trained team of school personnel, to intervene and refer these students to appropriate school and/or community services.
