Targeted Tutoring 

Academic Tutoring & Intervention (Morning Block)

During the morning portion of summer school, select students will participate in targeted academic tutoring through intensive small groups and 1:1 support.

This support is by invitation only and is designed for students who would benefit from additional, focused instruction to strengthen key reading and math skills. Students are identified based on school data and teacher input to ensure support is provided where it is most needed.

Our reading and math specialists will work closely with students using research-based strategies and personalized learning plans. Small group sizes allow for immediate feedback, skill-building, and meaningful progress.

Instruction will focus on:

• Strengthening foundational literacy and numeracy skills

• Addressing specific learning gaps

• Building confidence and readiness for the upcoming school year

This approach ensures students receive the intensive support they need while still participating in the full summer school experience.
