This year in science we will explore topics in chemistry, biology, and earth science by engaging in contextual hands-on labs, problem solving, explorations, reading, writing, and research. We will learn about these topics through the lens of systems. We will break down those systems to understand the structure and function of each and how energy is created and works with the system.

As an undergraduate I attended the University of Delaware and obtained a dual Masters of Science in Animal Science and Agricultural Education. While at UD I was a track and field athlete specializing in pole vault. In addition, I have two master degrees- one from Scared Heart University in teaching and the second from Southern Connecticut State University in Media Library Science. I am currently in my fifteenth year of teaching here at Saxe Middle School.
I have a passion for travel and have been to places within the United States, but I especially love traveling abroad. My favorite destinations thus far are Italy and Greece. South Africa, Costa Rica, Thailand and Australia are all on my list!!! In my free time, when I am not with friends or family, you can find me on the beach, reading a book, cooking or doing yoga.
