AP Studio and Design
AP Drawing Portfolio
This course is designed to address a very broad interpretation of drawing issues. Examples include using media such as painting, printmaking and traditional drawing media to create abstract and observational works. The artwork produced for the portfolio will include twenty-four digital images of the artwork and five actual works. All portfolios should reflect a proficient product. The class follows the AP Syllabus approved by the College Board which prepares the student for the AP Studio Art-Drawing Exam in May.

AP 2-D Art and Design Portfolio
This course is designed to address a very broad interpretation of two-dimensional design issues. This type of design involves purposeful decision-making about how to use the elements and principles of art in an integrative way. For this portfolio, students are asked to demonstrate proficiency which can include but are not limited to: graphic design, weaving, illustration, painting, digital imagery, typography, printmaking, and collage. The artwork produced for the portfolio will include twenty-four digital images of the artwork and five actual works. The class follows the AP Syllabus approved by the College Board which prepares the students for the AP Studio Art-2D Design Exam in May.
