Welcome to Visual Art at Union Pines High School!!
My name is Ms. Parks and I am the visual arts teacher at Union Pines. The courses that are offered are as follows...Visual Art Beginning, Visual Art Intermediate, Visual Art Proficient, Visual Art Advanced, Digital Photo Beginning, Digital Photo Intermediate, and AP Art and Design both 2-D Portfolio and Drawing. We have an active National Art Honor Society that art students elect to be a member of as well.

Entries for the 2022 MCS Holiday Card
Union Pines was allowed to submit 10 entries to the district level for this year's "MCS Holiday" card. This represents the 10 designs selected to advance. All students did an excellent job making narrowing it down very difficult. Congratulations to these 10 students and to all students who participated!
Arts Council of Moore County presents the 25th Annual Young People's Fine Arts Festival
Enjoy this presentation that showcases the UP artwork selected for this year's show. Details about the show are at the end! In addition to two 1st place, two 2nd place, and 4 honorable mentions, UP also won the 1st place School Award!!
