K-2 Jamie Perchinsky

Jamie Perchinsky is a Pittsburgh native (let's go black and yellow) and has been a part of the Blend+Ed program since 2021. She received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 2008 and obtained her National Board Certification in 2017. She has a passion for STEM education and utilizes a hands-on/ minds-on teaching philosophy, which allows children to enjoy, yet retain learning. Jamie was awarded The Green Apple Distinguished Teacher Award from Clarksville Montgomery County Schools in 2011, and was named West Pine Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2016. Jamie was awarded as WRAL's Teacher of the Week in October of 2023. Jamie has been a presenter at the Moore County Schools Engineering Conference since 2019, a Seesaw Ambassador, and is a part of Moore County Schools science curriculum design.
