Forensics is a Lab-based event in which teams are given a crime scenario and are then asked to solve it based on the evidence they gather and test. They then analyze their collected data to identify a suspect and solve the crime. This year, the topics you must focus on and learn to analyze are Qualitative Analysis, Polymer Testing: plastics, Paper Chromatography, and Crime Scene Physical Evidence (fingerprints, glass analysis, seeds and pollen, tracks and soil, and bullet striations).
