In Level 1, we focus on building employability skills and business vocabulary basics, while applying our learning in our school-based enterprise, a student store, Bizmart.

In the store, students work as cashiers, baristas, food preppers, team leads, and managers, earning their food handlers cards, and applying customer service skills to sales transactions serving our school community.

In the classroom, we learn about (and apply) basic economics, the business functions, types of business ownership, marketing functions, careers in business, business planning basics, and market segmentation in a project-focused environment.

We use DECA role plays to develop creative solutions for real business situations. DECA is an organization for business and marketing students. Check out this link for more.
