We're studying how shadows work! Students have to figure out how to move Willie the Gnome's shadow without moving him!
And our first pen pal letters go out to Bilquist Elementary
We read the Native American story of "The Three Sisters" and learn about the symbolism of each sister- turns out they're vegetables! Personification. BOOM!

Then went out in the garden to harvest them! We ate some delicious corn on the cob and LOTS of string beans. Pumpkins still need a bit more time. It was the largest harvest of corn at View Acres in years. We also tried some fennel seeds and cherry tomatoes. Yum!
