Families will register for the entire summer program.
Transportation: Bus transportation is available to and from the program each day and will utilize summer routes. You will be notified of your student's bus stop and times at least one week before the Summer program begins.
Attendance & Absences: Because space in our programs is limited, and we expect to have students waiting for space to open up, families are expected to report all absences to the BGCP site by phone or email. If your student is absent, the site secretary will call and/or email you to inquire about your student's absence. If your student does not attend the program without reporting the absence or following up with the site secretary for three consecutive days, your student will be removed from the program for the remainder of the summer and your spot will be given to a student on the waitlist.
Eligibility: The Summer Boys & Girls Club program is open to students that are registered to attend grades 1-5 in the Fall of 2022 at one of the following Elementary Schools: Lot Whitcomb, Oak Grove, Ardenwald, Lewelling, Riverside.
Incoming kindergarten youth are not eligible to attend this summer program due to grant funding restrictions.
*For families who are moving into the district, you do not have to be fully registered for school at the time of registration for the BGCP Program, but you will need to provide paperwork once you are enrolled in a NCSD elementary school.
