Each spring, 5th grade students start planning for middle school. One of the first steps is forecasting, or requesting your elective classes. The 6th grade schedule has many required courses that are assigned. However, students have the opportunity to take various elective courses, and forecasting allows you to share your requests with HVMS.

Middle school counselors will visit your 5th grade classroom in person. Students will be given a forecasting sheet and brochure. Forecasting forms will be collected on March 16.

**THE DEADLINE TO FILL OUT THE ONLINE FORM HAS PASSED: PLEASE CONTACT THE SCHOOL DIRECTLY IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO FORECAST FOR THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR**

Follow the steps below to be prepared for your elective forecasting for HVMS in your 5th grade classroom.

Step 1: Look through the “HVMS 6th Grade Course Catalog 2022-23”

Step 2: Visit our HVMS Forecasting Website

Step 3: Fill out the “HVMS 6th Grade Forecasting Worksheet” (MAKE A COPY OF THE WORKSHEET TO EDIT)

Step 4: COMPLETE THE HVMS 6th Grade Forecasting Form by 3/16.
